Stephen Miller set to play major role in next Trump administration

Senior adviser Stephen Miller has been tapped as the deputy chief of staff for policy in the Trump administration.

"This is another fantastic pick by the president. Congrats @StephenM!" Vice President-elect JD Vance said in a post on X. The news was first reported by CNN.

Miller worked with Donald Trump during his first administration as a trusted adviser and is known for his hardline stance on immigration.

Trump has already picked his campaign manager Susie Wiles to be his chief of staff. He has also picked former acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Thomas Homan to serve as a “border czar” for the incoming administration.
