The Seahawks have lost a key contributor in the fourth quarter. We break down the latest DK Metcalf injury news.

The Seattle Seahawks are dominating the Atlanta Falcons, but they lost a key contributor in the fourth quarter of Week 7. Wide receiver DK Metcalf suffered a knee injury and was taken off the field on a cart.

Metcalf has gone to the locker room and the team announced him as questionable to return. He left the game with four receptions for 99 yards and a touchdown. The folks at Field Gulls noted that he didn’t seem bothered when he left the field, but we’ll update with more information as it comes available.

Here’s video of the trainers looking at Metcalf and him trying to jog out the injury.

The Seahawks are in control of the game, but losing Metcalf — the team’s best wide receiver — for any amount of time would be very bad for their future chances.

More to come.
